“I’m a lifelong keyboard player that took up guitar a few years back. I began with an E—— ‘starter’, then moved onto a M—– . Even to an untrained ear, it was a noticeable improvement. Through a mutual acquaintance, I was introduced to George. Something was unexplainable in the sound I was hearing (and playing) on one of George’s triple “0” combo East Indian Rosewood & Torrefied Adirondack Spruce. I bought it immediately. The resonance does not end … ever. Those that I’ve allowed to play this – and most are more accomplished than me – are at a loss to explain the superior sound. Well done, George. And thank you! You are a master of your craft.” – Mark S. Pennsylvania – Torrefied Adirondack and East Indian Rosewood Model 000
“Hi George, I just wanted to share how happy I am with the guitar. It is a beautiful Instrument. It sounds great and is an absolute joy to feel in my hands. The G—–s, M—–s, T—–s, etc. that I tried out didn’t come close, at ANY price point. Not even close! I have a lot of practicing to do to make my chops worthy of such a fine guitar. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment. Thanks George!” – M.N. New York – Engelmann and Acacia Model DP – Deluxe
“I fell in love with this guitar the moment I saw it. The black limba is gorgeous and the second I played it, I knew it had to be mine. In fact, I bought it immediately so that there was no chance anyone else would discover her! The sound is bright and clean with a full, rich tone whether I’m strumming or picking. Couldn’t be happier with the quality, sound, look and feel of this guitar. Thank you for making her mind George!” – Diane P. New Jersey – Sitka and Black Limba Model DH
“I went to George looking to build something very specific. Trying to capture a 90 year-old look and sound are not the easiest things to accomplish as a builder. George knew I would need a Torrefied Adirondack Spruce top (with Torrefied Adirondack braces as well) coupled with Madagascar back and sides to accomplish this sound and used his considerable skills to know how to finish the guitar in a way that looked “aged”. Copying a 1930’s vintage look, it is simple but gorgeous instrument. However, the sound is just crazy. It is a 000 sized guitar that is so warm and huge sounding. It is hard to believe that it sounds so old and refined right out of George’s workshop. I can’t imagine ever finding a better sounding acoustic for my ears.” – Shane B. “Several months ago I was in search of a new Acoustic Guitar. I sat down at Parkway and played several different guitars until I picked up one of your builds. I knew from the first chord I played, I was bringing that guitar home. I love the sound of my Krakat and get compliments every time I break it out and play it. Just wanted to reach out and give some feedback. Keep up the good work!” – Hugh C. New York – Sitka Spruce and East Indian Rosewood Model JH
